I had the pleasure of DJ’ing for Dominic and MaryAnne Smith at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. There were just over 300 guests and they did not disappoint as they were a very fun group to DJ for.

The good thing is that I have DJ’d at this location several times now and setup was easy as I already knew exactly where I wanted everything to be at. I set up the same as my previous gig there in April with a top and sub on each side of the dance floor, along with a T-bar with lights on each side as well. The speakers were able to fill the room with a nice and clean sound.

This was the first time I used my new uplights. I purchased six of these small 3 x 18W wedge lights. I started off with six because I wanted to test them out first to see how they worked out. Let me tell you these are amazing little lights. They have wireless DMX capabilities so I was able to add them to my existing show using QLC+. They can also run on battery power if needed, but I was able to place them in locations near power. They are bright and very responsive to wireless DMX commands.
