Music played before any wedding ceremony sets the tone for the entire wedding. It will let the guests know what type of wedding it will be whether it is contemporary, classical, old school, new school, etc. As with any part of the playlist, the DJ should always ask the couple what thy would like played to make sure any songs added by the DJ blend well musically with what was pre-selected. Below is just a sample of some of the
Pre-Ceremony
Bridal Party Entrance
There is no wrong song to choose for when the bridal party enters the ceremony. The key is making it your own.
Bride Entrance
More and more brides are going away from the traditional “Here Comes the Bride” song when walking down the aisle. This doesn’t mean you can’t use it as it still provides that nice traditional touch if that is part of your overall theme. There are so many songs that can be used, so don’t be afraid to explore other options.
Recession
Like with the song for when the bride enters the ceremony, you can always go with the traditional Wedding March and not go wrong. If you want to try something different, try something cheerful as this is a time to celebrate.
